University of New England, KeyBank partner to combat provider shortage

PORTLAND, Maine, USA: For over a decade, oral health stakeholders and concerned residents in Maine have been developing a comprehensive plan to respond to the dramatic shortage of dentists in the state. Fifteen of the state’s 16 counties have been identified as dental health shortage areas, and a high percentage of its practicing dentists will retirement age within the next five to 10 years.

University of New England announces scholarship in memory of James B. Hanley

Hanley, DMD, dean of the College of Dental Medicine, in late May following a battle with cancer.
